If you're a songwriter, you understand the significance of melody in a song, which is often just as important as the lyrics. And if you're human, you've probably experienced the frustration of forgetting lyrics. That's where The Lyrics App comes in. It allows you to write your lyrics and record your melodies all in one place, eliminating the need to switch between apps.

iCloud Backup ensures that all your songs, lyrics, and melodies are backed up safely to your iCloud. If you ever lose your phone or need to redownload The Lyrics App, rest assured that your written songs will still be available and automatically synced to your device when you open the app while logged into your iCloud account. This feature also keeps The Lyrics App synchronized across all devices logged into the same iCloud account.

The Rhyme Generator feature unlocks access to thousands of rhyming words and phrases at your fingertips. Simply highlight the word you want to find rhymes for by double tapping it, then tap the Rhymes button above your keyboard. You'll be presented with a list of up to 1,000 rhyming words and phrases on a scrollable bar. Select an option to replace the highlighted word.

The Thesaurus feature unlocks thousands of synonyms for your lyrics. Just highlight the word you want synonyms for by double tapping it, then tap the Thesaurus button above your keyboard. A list of up to 1,000 synonyms will appear on a scrollable bar. Choose an option to replace the highlighted text.

iCloud Drive ensures that all your songs, lyrics, and melody recordings are backed up. If you ever want to export any of your recordings, simply go to the Files app on your iOS device, select iCloud Drive, and open The Lyrics App folder. Inside, you'll find individual folders for each song containing a text file with the lyrics and a folder with all the recordings. You can also access these folders from the Finder on your Mac by enabling iCloud Drive on your device.
